Hi I’m Hannah, I’m a UK trained midwife and have been qualified for 4 years. I have lots of experience with natural birth, especially in the water and believe a calm and safe environment is paramount for a calm and natural birth.
I fully support woman’s choice in pregnancy and childbirth and encourage woman to listen to their inner voice and knowing.
I aim to keep things as natural as possible and love the weird and wonderful! I am a trained placenta specialist and can make anything from smoothies, capsules, art and even face cream, from this amazing organ!
In my spare time I love to be as close to nature as possible , live the simple life and , of course, DANCE!
I’ve been involved with midwifery for over 20 years now & i’m still completely in love with everything about it! I believe passionately about women’s rights & choices regarding pregnancy & birth options. I’ve been a home birth midwife for 15 years & have had the honour to work with women & their families making natural birth choices for vbac (vaginal birth after caesarean), twins & breech. These are my areas of extra special interest.
I am also a mother to Max, 8, midwifery teacher, mentor & student in Nutritional Healing. I love to be with friends enjoying good food, music, dancing & the sunset.
Since the birth of my first child, now 23, in my teepee I was inspired by the magic of birth, my passion saw me accompany many women from my community through their journeys. After witnessing my first hospital birth I realised the incredible gift those births had been… a trust in the process was deep inside.
Twenty years later and 100,s of beautiful births, many years of speaking internationally on birth and now running the midwifery school I still enjoy to be with a few families a year inspiring gentle births your way. Would be lovely to meet you x
Blessed be the next generation 😘
