HOW CAN I STUDY WITH YOU?

Studies are taught in English as we have students from around the globe.

Open modules and elective 10 day retreats.

The fees of 220€ per module includes 18 hours teaching, delicious food on teaching days, wise company and often a party!

FULL TIME STUDY:

If you are interested in joining us, full time applications are accepted in January for our 9 month course starting each October. Fees for the 9 month stay are 4000€ A place in the community field can be arranged but these are limited on a first come first served basis.

Please contact us for an application places are limited to 15 per class so we invite 12 full time students as our core group and 3 external students.

We welcome those passing through to join us for modules throughout the year… You do not need any particular qualifications to be with us just to be passionate about midwifery ❤️

We ask a deposit of €50 to confirm your place. Balance due 28 days before start of module.

We are happy to answer any questions you may have.

VOLUNTEERS.. We do not at this time accept volunteers.

WILL I BE ABLE TO WORK LEGALLY AS A MIDWIFE ON COMPLETION OF THE COURSE?

NO... Sadly the only way to do this is through the present University system in each country… Mainly Obstetrics-based training with clinical practice in hospitals.

Here we will guide you to be be an autonomous practitioner…. To be whoever your client wishes to be in the way you wish to serve.

In many countries it is illegal to work in this way.

WHERE ARE YOU BASED AND HOW DO WE FIND YOU?

We are situated in the foot hills of the Sierra Nevada a place of raw beauty and stunning walks. A diverse community of folk live in ORGIVA, many here are leading the way to an off grid sustainable life style…

Flying to Malaga or Granada the bus service here is great but do check times. The direct bus leaves centre of town ( 15 mins from airport on train) at 15.00, car rental is cheap and does give you the opportunity to explore this amazing place.

We ask everyone to arrive the day before your module starts normally a SUNDAY. As we will start at 10am MONDAY and it is important to us you attend all sessions on time.

Finding us is very much part of the adventure! Many get lost! We will send you a pin to find us.

We provide delicious organic vegetarian food on teaching days within your fees.

Accommodation can be found with air B&B or the local ‘ Órgiva camping ‘ has great bungalows, do take a look at the area…
